WildBoy are a tiny team with huge talent! ATONE, the studio's flagship project, breathes life back into a period of history so often depicted in sepia tone.
ATONE is a 2D narrative adventure that weaves Norse mythology with vibrant visuals and charming characters. Spread over four different seasonal chapters, you will follow Estra's story as she forges a path through this wild world on a journey to uncover the truth about her father's death.
ATONE’s combat is one of the things that makes the game so special.
Working on ATONE has allowed me to flex my Narrative Design muscles, weaving the story in and out of the game’s charming mechanics. Music plays a huge part in the way the game plays, and working out how both score and story can work together has been one of my favourite parts of the project.
ISA is a vibrant world, one that is filled to the brim with life.
As the only writer on the team, I have been in charge of writing all dialogue for main-path and side characters, in-game text for puzzle prompts and lore nodes, and so much more. I got to pick apart Norse myth and stitch it back together in a colourful patchwork. What an adventure it has been!
